{"id":76548,"date":"2016-08-11T12:10:36","date_gmt":"2016-08-11T12:10:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cmsportal.dalfers.com.br\/?p=76548"},"modified":"2022-07-16T14:14:24","modified_gmt":"2022-07-16T16:14:24","slug":"canhambora","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lab.fabricadelandings.com.br\/portalsaofrancisconovo\/artes-e-cultura\/folclore\/canhambora","title":{"rendered":"Canhambora"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O\u00a0<strong>Canhambora<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 um homem preto, grande e feio, que rouba crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n<p>Assombra\u00e7\u00e3o dos negros mortos a pancadas.<\/p>\n<p>Pode ser bicho, metade homem e metade cavalo, que agride ca\u00e7adores.<\/p>\n<p>Tem, por vezes, cabelos compridos at\u00e9 os p\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Ressuscita animais mortos e mata os homens.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Canhambora &#8211; Hist\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amadeu Amaral deixou-o num claro verbete em seu \u201cDialeto Caipira\u201d, S\u00e3o Paulo, p. 105, 1920:<\/strong>\u00a0Escravo fugido, que geralmente vivia em quilombolas ou malocas pelos matos. Beaupaire Bohan regista as variantes \u201ccaiambola, ca-lhambola, canhambola, canhambora, canhembora, caiam-bora\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo Anchieta, citado pelo mesmo, o tupi \u201cca-nhembara\u201d significa fugido e fugitivo.<\/p>\n<p>Houve talvez alguma confus\u00e3o com \u201cquilombola\u201d, determinando todas as variantes em ola, ora, que ficam consignadas.<\/p>\n<p>Quando, em 1917, Monteiro Lobato dirigiu o inqu\u00e9rito paulista sobre o Saci-Perer\u00ea, reunindo depois em volume, o velho Canhambora ressurgiu nos depoimentos, desfigurado mas vivo nas mem\u00f3rias fi\u00e9is.<\/p>\n<p>O Canhembora foi, em outras eras, um terr\u00edvel ladr\u00e3o de gado, esconjurado solenemente pelos criadores prejudicados.<\/p>\n<p>O sr. A. Beinke desenhou-o sob o aspecto do Caapora, governador das ca\u00e7as.<\/p>\n<p>Um caboclo velho, barbado e tido na zona como incapaz de mentir, conta que, quando mo\u00e7o, era ca\u00e7ador apaixonado. Saiu um dia para a divers\u00e3o e n\u00e3o tendo reparado que esse dia era santo, soltou os cachorros no mato. Depois de muito esperar, ouviu o latido do melhor cachorro da matilha e, logo ap\u00f3s, uma quantidade enorme de porcos do mato que, grunhindo, passavam junto dele; esperou o \u00faltimo e qual n\u00e3o foi o seu espanto quanto viu, montado no \u00faltimo porco, um homem alto, coberto de pelos, s\u00f3 tendo nua uma roda, em torno do umbigo!<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-163563 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/lab.fabricadelandings.com.br\/portalsaofrancisconovo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Canham10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"264\" height=\"289\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Canhambora<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Era o Canhambora, disse ele, e voltei num carreir\u00e3o paia casa at\u00e9 hoje nunca mais cacei.
