Arawak e Carib mitologia sugerem o festival est\u00e1 ligado a aves, especialmente as \u00e1guias, e serpentes, incluindo as serpentes voadoras.

\nKagutu:<\/strong>\u00a0este \u00e9 o complexo de flauta sagrada Alto Xingu, uma festa que n\u00e3o pode ser visto \u2013 s\u00f3 ouvi \u2013 por mulheres. Ele alude ao roubo de um objeto de poder. O rito pode ser intra-tribal ou inter-tribal. O povo Amondawa que vivem nas profundezas das florestas tropicais da Amaz\u00f4nia do Brasil n\u00e3o t\u00eam rel\u00f3gios ou calend\u00e1rios e viver suas vidas com os padr\u00f5es de dia e de noite e as esta\u00e7\u00f5es chuvosa e seca.<\/p>\n
Eles tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o t\u00eam idade \u2013 e marca a transi\u00e7\u00e3o da inf\u00e2ncia para a idade adulta at\u00e9 a velhice, mudando seu nome. Eles mudam seus nomes para refletir o est\u00e1gio de vida e posi\u00e7\u00e3o dentro da sociedade.<\/p>\n
A crian\u00e7a vai desistir de seu nome a um irm\u00e3o rec\u00e9m-nascido e assumir um novo.<\/p>\n
Os povos ind\u00edgenas tamb\u00e9m t\u00eam uma maneira pr\u00f3pria de marcar a passagem do tempo.<\/p>\n
Para alguns desses povos, a passagem do tempo est\u00e1 relacionada \u00e0 agricultura e aos fen\u00f4menos naturais, como a chuva e o frio.<\/p>\n
Os \u00edndios brasileiros n\u00e3o tinham mais que rudimentos m\u00ednimos de um calend\u00e1rio, sem qualquer teoriza\u00e7\u00e3o ou padroniza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
Conheciam apenas as quatro fases da lua e sua repeti\u00e7\u00e3o c\u00edclica, e notavam algumas mudan\u00e7as, como as \u00e9pocas de calor, chuva, frio, cheias dos rios, piracema, amadurecimento dos frutos. N\u00e3o dividiam o dia em horas.<\/p>\n
Algumas tribos, como a dos guaranis, conheciam duas esta\u00e7\u00f5es:<\/strong>\u00a0do Sol (coaraci-ara) e das chuvas (almana-ara).<\/p>\n
Os caingangues, no Sul do Brasil, contavam at\u00e9 dez dias passados ou futuros, usando os dez dedos das m\u00e3os. \u201cNingk\u00e9\u201d significa \u201cm\u00e3o\u201d e \u201cten\u201d quer dizer \u201ccom\u201d.<\/p>\n
Reunidos esses ordinais com a palavra Sol, obtinham os dias da semna, e com a palavra Lua, as semanas.<\/p>\n
