Enviou para a Dalm\u00e1cia recursos econ\u00f4micos e mission\u00e1rios para ajudar o povo a suportar a invas\u00e3o dos eslavos que devastaram suas terras. Sagrou o monge irland\u00eas S\u00e3o Flamano, que estudava em Roma, bispo de Killalloe, Irlanda, sua cidade natal, com a miss\u00e3o de cuidar da Igreja, o que desempenhou com hist\u00f3rica efici\u00eancia.
